What is Sarson Ka Saag?

 Saag is used to describe puréed greens. Mustard greens (called Sarson) are the most common in Pakistan and India.

Ingredients

Green Chilis & Garlic

Spinach

Dried Fenugreek Leaves

Salt

Mustard Greens

Cornflour

Turmeric

Add water, mustard greens, spinach, green chili pepper, garlic, turmeric & salt to Instant Pot.

STEP 1

Use an immersion blender to blend into a rough paste.

STEP 2

Add in the cornflour and start cooking to thicken the saag.

STEP 3

Stir in the dried fenugreek leaves and keep cooking.

STEP 4

Gather the Tadka (tempering) ingredients.

STEP 5

Cilantro

Ginger

Ghee

Oil

Onion

Sauté onion in oil & ghee.

STEP 6

Transfer tadka to saag and garnish with cilantro.

STEP 7
