Matar Pulao

Peas Pulao

Ingredients

Heat oil and ghee. Add onions & sauté until golden brown.

STEP 1

Deglaze pan with water.  Add garlic & ginger. Sauté.

STEP 2

Add whole spices, tomato & green chili pepper. Sauté.

STEP 3

Add garam masala, black pepper, salt & frozen peas. Stir. Add water & bring to a boil.

STEP 4

Add rice & stir gently. Bring to a boil. Partially cover & simmer for 5 minutes.

STEP 5

Cover & steam. Using a rice paddle, gently fluff rice when cooked.

STEP 6

Enjoy with raita!
