Punjabi Kadhi Pakora
Stovetop or Instant Pot
In a bowl, mix together yogurt and gram flour. Add water and mix again.
In a pot, heat oil & add onions. Sauté until golden. Deglaze with water.
Add garlic & ginger. Sauté. Add spices & salt. Sauté.
Add yogurt mixture to pot. Bring to a boil. Partially cover and simmer.
Prepare pakora mixture by chopping potatoes.
In a bowl, combine onion, potato, serrano pepper, dried fenugreek, spices, baking powder & lemon.
Add gram flour and mix. Next add water and mix again.
Drop tablespoon full of pakora mixture into oil and fry until golden.
Add lemon to kadhi followed by cooked pakoras.
Pour tadka over kadhi. Sprinkle with cilantro and enjoy with basmati rice!
